O professor é um personagem essencial na formação do ser humano, e muito além de dar aulas, o professor cria dentro da Instituição, um local de formação sociocultural e de exercício da vida. Atualmente no Brasil conta com mais de 2,5 milhões de professores, de acordo com o Censo Escolar e o Censo da Educação Superior e se for relacionar a profissão que impacta de forma marcante na sociedade, certamente estará na lista a doce profissão de formar todas as outras profissões, o Ser Professor. No exercício da formação de inúmeros profissionais em várias áreas do conhecimento, sendo feliz transferindo o que sabe e aprendendo o que ensina, 790 professores e preceptores atuam com maestria hoje na Universidade de Rio Verde - UniRV e para homenagear a todos estes profissionais, contamos um pouco da história de quatro professores, que tem amor pela docência e fez história dentro da sala de aula.

O primeiro contato de Alessandro Guerra da Silva com a docência foi ainda na Pós-Graduação, principalmente quando estava fazendo o Mestrado e depois no Doutorado e esse contato com a sala de aula foi um divisor de águas, onde se identificou com a profissão, e em agosto de 2002 iniciou sua carreira na Faculdade de Agronomia da UniRV. “A profissão de professor é essencial e estratégica e como formador temos a grande responsabilidade de passar informações úteis em benefício da sociedade como um todo. Não vejo a sociedade sem esse profissional, “comentou Alessandro, que avalia como sua maior conquista o reconhecimento de ter contribuído com a formação de mais de mil acadêmicos: “A maior conquista é encontrar um egresso em ascensão no mercado de trabalho e ele lembrar momentos de aprendizado que passamos juntos em sala de aula e que foi importante para sua carreira,”. 

Com 20 anos de carreira na docência, Alessandro vê a sala de aula como um espaço onde sua formação e experiência profissional se funde e acredita que cada aula é única, o que torna desafiadora a profissão de ensinar profissões. “Lembro do meu primeiro dia de aula, deu um frio na barriga, a responsabilidade de atuar, primeiro levando o nome de uma Instituição e em segundo, atuar em uma região onde a maioria dos alunos já tem conhecimento prático, além de ensinar o que sabemos temos o desafio de contextualizar com o mercado para ter interação com os alunos. O que eu tinha de bagagem de conhecimento aliado a identificação com esta Instituição foi fator que contribuiu para iniciar minha carreira na docência aqui na Universidade,” finalizou.

 

 

Vindouro de uma carreira “Nerd”, Fausto Arantes Lobo teve o gosto pela sala de aula desde que concluiu o Ensino Médio trabalhando em concursos e aplicando provas em exames nacionais, e também ministrando aulas para turmas de lutas. Em 2009 iniciou sua graduação na Faculdade de Engenharia Civil, depois de formado em 2014 foi para o Mestrado e assumiu algumas turmas como professor temporário no Instituto Federal Goiano e em 2017 com a aprovação no concurso, começou fazer parte do corpo docente da Instituição. “Sempre pensei de ser professor, só não pensei que iniciaria na carreira tão rápido. Ser professor é saber como ensinar e saber conversar com os alunos despertando o interesse de cada um. Temos a missão de tornar um conteúdo considerado complexo em algo de fácil aprendizado,”

A experiência como ministrador de aulas esportivas contribuiu com o início da sua carreira e em seis anos na profissão de professor, Fausto gosta de mostrar a Engenharia de um jeito fácil e se diverte com o fato de ter quase a mesma idade de muitos alunos e frequentar o mesmo ambiente profissional de vários. “Sou feliz sendo professor, é bem o que eu planejei, acho bom dar aula é a oportunidade de ensinar os alunos. Ser professor é para quem gosta e tem interesse em ensinar outras pessoas. Sou defensora da carreira na docência porque escolhi desde sempre,” finalizou.

 

 

Com intensão de ser professora, Kênia Alves Barcelos planejou sua carreira na Docência, ao iniciar sua graduação em Biologia, e com um Mestrado em Genética visando ser professora universitária, começou dar aulas na PUC em 2002. Sua vinda para Rio Verde foi motivada pela aprovação em um concurso da UniRV, ministrando aulas em quase todos os cursos com a disciplina de biologia celular. “O professor se mantém jovem com a energia dos alunos, e tem a oportunidade de conhecer o mundo por meio das pessoas, tendo o contato com diferentes tipos de personalidades e de diferentes culturas. Acho mágico o universo da sala de aula, quando eu entro na sala de aula é o momento de renovar as energias para o restante da semana,” compartilhou a professora.

Na coordenação pedagógica da Faculdade de Medicina desde 2015, Kênia continua na sala de aula e vê no exercício da docência a oportunidade de estar próximo dos alunos e contribuir com o aprendizado de todos. “Entrar na gestão foi um dos grandes desafios na minha carreira, mas escolhi continuar também na sala de aula, onde eu posso conhecer os nossos alunos, me renovar com tantas energias e viajar pelo mundo com a diversidade de personalidades e culturas,” completou.  

 

 

Quem também iniciou sua carreira na docência foi o Reitor, Alberto Barella Netto após terminar a Graduação na Instituição, começou a ministrar aulas no Curso de Administração no ano de 1998, trabalhando a disciplina de finanças corporativas, e posteriormente integrou o quadro de docentes da Faculdade de Ciências Contábeis. “Ser professor é aprender ensinando, em uma relação de amorosidade e respeito para com o aluno, reconhecendo suas qualidades e incentivando a superar as dificuldades. Sem dúvida ser professor é a realização de um sonho, onde compartilhamos o que aprendemos e a temos a oportunidade de aprender juntos, todos em busca de um único objetivo, o de moldar um futuro para as gerações vindouras,” comentou Alberto Barella.

Em 2007 Barella foi convidado para trabalhar na Pró-Reitoria de Administração e Planejamento, onde realizou o projeto da regionalização da Universidade de Rio Verde, participando da expansão do Campus para outras cidades, até ser eleito e assumir o cargo de Reitor em janeiro de 2021. “Tenho a certeza que a nossa Instituição é sólida e reconhecida pelo papel de todos os servidores, e quero nesta data destacar o importante papel dos nossos professores, são eles a base do nosso reconhecimento e principais atores da história da educação superior e principalmente da história da UniRV. Agradeço a cada professor, por toda dedicação, amor e respeito pela educação e pela Universidade de Rio Verde, vocês são os protagonistas nessa honrosa profissão, que forma todas as outras profissões. Parabéns professores pelo seu Dia,” homenageou o Reitor.

 

 

 

The sweet profession of making all other professions!

The teacher is an essential character in the formation of the human being, and far beyond teaching, the teacher creates within the Institution, a place for sociocultural training and the exercise of life. Currently, Brazil has more than 2.5 million teachers, according to the School Census and the Higher Education Census and if one is to tell the professions that have a marked impact on society, the sweet profession of making all other professions is definitely on that list. In the exercise of training countless professionals in various areas, being happy teaching what they know and learning what they teach, 790 professors and preceptors work with mastery today at the University of Rio Verde - UniRV, and to honor all these professionals, we tell a little of the story of four teachers, who have a love for teaching and made history within the classroom.

Alessandro Guerra da Silva's first contact with teaching was still in the Post-Graduate course, especially when he was doing his Master's and then his Doctorate, and this contact with the classroom was the starting point, in which he identified with the profession, and in August 2002 he began his career at the UniRV Faculty of Agronomy. “The teaching profession is essential and strategic and as trainers we have a great responsibility to pass on useful information for the benefit of society as a whole. I don’t see society without this professional," commented Alessandro, who considers his greatest achievement to be the recognition of having contributed to the training of over a thousand academics: “The biggest achievement is finding some alumni who are on the rise in the job market and who remember the learning moments we spent together in the classroom and that they were important for their careers.”

With 20 years into his teaching career, Alessandro sees the classroom as a space where his training and professional experience merge and believes that each class is unique, which makes the profession of teaching other professions challenging. “I remember my first day in class, my stomach fluttered, the responsibility of acting, first carrying the name of an institution and secondly, working in a region where most students already have practical knowledge, in addition to teaching what we know we have the challenge of contextualizing with the market to interact with students. The knowledge I had, allied to the identification with this institution, was a factor that contributed to starting my teaching career here at the University,” he concluded.

Coming from a “Nerd” career, Fausto Arantes Lobo had a taste for the classroom since he finished high school working in public tests and applying tests in national exams, and also teaching classes for fighting groups. In 2009 he started his graduation at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, after graduating in 2014 he went to the Master's and took on some classes as a temporary professor at the Instituto Federal Goiano and in 2017 with the approval in the public admission's test, he started being a part of the faculty of the Institution. “I always thought about being a teacher, I just didn't think I would start my career so quickly. Being a teacher is knowing how to teach and knowing how to talk to students, sparking an interest in each one of them. Our mission is to turn content that is considered complex into something that is easy to learn,”

The experience as a teacher in sports classes contributed to the beginning of his career and in six years in the teaching profession, Fausto likes to show Engineering in an easy way and has fun with the fact that he is almost the same age as many students and attends the same professional environments as many. “I'm happy being a teacher. That's exactly what I planned. I think it's good to teach, having the opportunity to teach students. Being a teacher is for those who like it and are interested in teaching other people. I'm an advocate of the teaching career because I've always chosen it,” he concluded.

With the intention of becoming a teacher, Kênia Alves Barcelos planned her teaching career when she started her graduation in Biology and, with a Master's degree in Genetics, she aimed at being a university professor. She started teaching at PUC in 2002. Her coming to Rio Verde was motivated by the approval in a UniRV public admissions test, teaching classes in almost all courses with the discipline of cellular biology. “Teacher remain young with the energy of the students, and have the opportunity to get to know the world through people, having contact with different types of personalities and different cultures. I think the classroom universe is magical. When I enter the classroom it is the time to renew my energy for the rest of the week,” shared the teacher.

In the pedagogical coordination of the Faculty of Medicine since 2015, Kênia remains in the classroom and sees in teaching an opportunity to be close to students and contribute to everyone's learning. “Entering management was one of the biggest challenges in my career, but I chose to continue in the classroom as well, where I can meet our students, renew myself with so much energy and travel the world with the diversity of personalities and cultures,” she added.

The Rector, Alberto Barella Netto, also began his teaching career after completing his graduation degree at the Institution. He began teaching classes in the Business Course in 1998, teaching the discipline of corporate finances, and later joining the Faculty of Accounting Sciences. “Being a teacher is learning by teaching, in a relationship of love and respect for the student, recognizing their qualities and encouraging them to overcome difficulties. Undoubtedly, being a teacher is the realization of a dream, in which we share what we learn and have the opportunity to learn together, all in search of a single goal, that of shaping a future for future generations,” commented Alberto Barella.

In 2007 Barella was invited to work at the Pro-Rector of Administration and Planning, where he carried out the project for the regionalization of the University of Rio Verde, participating in the expansion of the Campus to other cities, until he was elected and assumed the position of Rector in January 2021. “I am sure that our Institution is solid and recognized for the role of all its staff, and on this date I want to highlight the important role of our professors. They are the basis of our recognition and the main actors in the history of higher education and especially in the history of UniRV. I thank each professor for all the dedication, love and respect for education and for the University of Rio Verde. You are the protagonists in this honorable profession, which makes all other professions. Congratulations teachers for your Day,” honored the Rector.
