“Literary work for the Medicine Admissions Exam”

The University of Rio Verde – UniRV informs that the book by Marçal Aquino will not be a part of the recommendations for UniRV’s Admissions Exams.

UniRV notes that the tests are under the responsibility of a group of teachers who teach in public and private schools of all over the country. It is these teachers’ responsibility to recommend the literary works and make the questions, observing the content of High School curriculums. It still informs that every teacher involved in the creation of the tests sign documents regarding the originality, confidentiality and other aspects regarding the responsibilities of the function.

Regarding Marçal Aquino’s book, it is a Brazilian contemporary literary work, studied in the best admission exam courses, being present on the mandatory lists of several public exams in the country. That is the reason why the group of teachers recommended it to UniRV’s Admissions Exam.

However, the Admissions Exam Coordination when becoming aware of the book’s content and the controversy it generated, decided for the immediate exclusion of the aforementioned literary work that was recommended for the admissions exam.
