Animação e companheirismo marcam etapa Aparecida dos Jogos de Areia da UniRV

Com a participação de cerca de 50 acadêmicos, professores e servidores, a etapa Aparecida – Extensão Goiânia disputada no último sábado, dia 19 de agosto, marcou o início da primeira edição dos Jogos de Areia da UniRV, criado com o objetivo de promover a integração entre a comunidade acadêmica, estimular a qualidade de vida e fomentar competições intra e interinstitucionais.

Em clima de animação e bastante descontraído, a galera mandou bem dentro e fora da quadra de areia, mostrando competitividade aliada ao companheirismo. Foram disputadas as modalidades: vôlei de areia dupla (masculino e feminino), vôlei de areia 4x4 (misto), futevôlei dupla (masculino e feminino), futevôlei (misto), beach tennis (masculino e feminino) e beach tennis (misto).

O Manakai Goiânia foi palco de muitas emoções, com destaque para a atuação da “torcida organizada” incentivando e motivando sua equipe ou dupla favorita. Emoção que também pôde ser vista em cada ponto marcado, ou mesmo aquele lance “daora”, que arrancava comemorações nos cada atleta de areia.

O campeonato voltado aos acadêmicos e servidores será disputado ainda, nos Câmpus Luziânia (26 de agosto); Rio Verde (03 de setembro); Formosa (16 de setembro) e Goianésia (23 de setembro) e os campeões de cada etapa, disputarão a grande final em Rio Verde, no mês de novembro.

“O início dos Jogos de Areia da UniRV torna realidade o sonho da nossa gestão de fomentar práticas saudáveis dentro dos Câmpus, além de promover a integração e o convívio social dos nossos acadêmicos. Parabéns aos estudantes que participaram com garra e companheirismo da etapa de Aparecida,” reforça o Reitor, professor Alberto Barella Netto.

Fomento aos esportes de areia

Fomentando a iniciativa esportiva nas modalidades disputadas em areia, a Universidade de Rio Verde iniciou em maio deste ano, a construção da “Arena UniRV” um complexo composto por oito quadras, vestiários e uma área de convivência, além de um paisagismo especial para deixar o local agradável e confortável. O espaço de areia está sendo estruturado entre o Bloco 3 e a Biblioteca Central.

O local será palco da grande final dos Jogos de Areia, marcada para enaltecer a cerimônia de inauguração, marcada para o mês de novembro. “Tínhamos o imenso desejo de oportunizar, à comunidade universitária, a prática deste esporte que combina tão bem com o clima de Goiás e que certamente vai promover ainda mais bem-estar e qualidade de vida a todos que estudam e trabalham no campus. Este ano a comunidade acadêmica receberá a nossa Arena UniRV, que incentivará ainda mais a prática esportiva.” finaliza o Reitor.

Excitement and companionship mark the Aparecida phase of the UniRV Beach Games

With the participation of around 50 academics, professors and staff members, the Aparecida – Goiânia Extension phase, played last Saturday, August 19, marked the beginning of the first edition of the UniRV Beach Games, created with the goal of promoting the integration between the academic community, stimulating quality of life and fomenting competition inside and outside the Institution.

In a very excited and laid-back environment, people did a great job in and out of the sand courts, demonstrating competitivity allied to companionship. The following categories were played: beach volleyball doubles (men and women), 4x4 beach volleyball (mixed), footvolley doubles (men and women), footvolley (mixed), beach tennis (men and women) and beach tennis (mixed).

Manakai Goiânia was the stage for many emotions, with a highlight to the “organized supporters” incentivizing and motivating their favorite team or double. Emotion that was also palpable in each point scored, or even in that “dope” play, that had athletes celebrating.

The championship created for academics and staff members will also be played at the Luziânia Campus (August 26); Rio Verde (September 3); Formosa (September 16) and Goianésia (September 23) and the champions of each city will compete in the great finals in Rio Verde in November.

“The beginning of the UniRV Beach Games makes the dream of our management come true. A dream of fomenting healthy practices in the Campuses, apart from promoting integration and social interaction between our academics. Congratulations to the students that took part of the Aparecida phase of the competition,” reinforces the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto.

Fomenting beach sports

Fomenting sporting initiatives related to beach games, the University of Rio Verde began, in May of this year, the construction of “UniRV Arena”, a complex made up of eight courts, locker rooms and a living area, apart from a special landscaping project designed to make the place pleasant and comfortable. The site is being structured between Block 3 and the Central Library.

The site will be the stage for the finals of the Beach Games, scheduled to highlight the opening ceremony, set for November. “We had the deep desire to grant the academic community with an opportunity to practice these sports that go so well with the climate of Goiás and the will certainly promote well-being and quality of life even further for all who study and work on campus. This year the academic community will get our UniRV Arena, which will incentivize, even more, sporting activities.” concludes the Rector.
