With a full house, UniRV celebrates the Traditional Course Graduation

The Graduation marks the conclusion of a very important step in the life of academics and symbolizes the success in their university journey. To celebrate this moment, the university of Rio Verde held, this Friday, July 21, the graduation ceremony for the following courses: Administration; Agronomy; Accounting Sciences; Interior Design; Graphic Design; Law; Nursing; Civil Engineering; Mechanic Engineering; Software Engineering; Physiotherapy; Marketing; Veterinary Medicine; Dentistry; Pedagogy and Psychology.

The directive board was made up of the Vice-Rector and Pro-Rector of Graduation, professor Dr. Arício Vieira da Silva, and by the following Directors: professor M.S. Kerla Cristina Parreira Lima; professor Dr. Paulo Fernandes Boldrin; professor M.S. André Henrique Sousa Barros, representing professor Dr. Débora Ferguson; professor M.S. Márcio Rubens Sousa Santos; professor Dr. Línia Dayana Lopes Machado; professors M.S. Vinicius Alexandre de Castro; professor M.S. Alex Anderson de Oliveira Moura; professor M.S. João Dionísio Paraíba; professor M.S. Marcos Marcondes de Godoy; professor Dr. Mariana Paz Rodrigues Dias, representing professor Dr. Tales Dias do Prado; professor Dr. Renato Canevari Dutra da Silva; professor Eli Coelho Guimarães Carneiro and professor M.S. Claudio Herbert Nina e Silva.

Parents, friends and family crowded the facilities of the Convention Center waiting for the moment to celebrate the conclusion of the studies, formalized by the traditional handing of the diploma. Confetti, colorful and custom balloons, banners and horns expressed the joy everyone had during the ceremony. On stage, positioned and awaiting their turn, 120 graduates made the scenario with their special clothes, wearing the colors of their courses in red, blue, green, pink and burgundy.

Speaking on behalf of all Directors, professor Claudio Herbert spoke to the parents and family members, highlighting the confidence put on the institution and its professional formation and recalled the responsibility the graduates will have from the ceremony on. “Us, professors, have demanded of you some sacrifices and privation in order for you to graduate. During your time at the University, we have taught you to handle the sails, but from tomorrow on, you are the ones who will have to sail. The University of Rio Verde thanks and wishes for an excellent professional journey to all of you”, commented the Director.

On behalf of the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto and all the higher administration, the Vice-Rector completed the speeches mentioning the role professors have in their teaching, capacitating good professionals. “Every professor from the University of Rio Verde do their best so that our academics leave here being the best professionals. From today on, the market will receive the best professionals, capable to do their crafts brilliantly anywhere in Brazil. We wish an excellent professional journey, with ethics, respect and responsibility”, concluded Arício.

After all the speeches, after every diploma had been handed and every graduation cap put on, mean a dream that came true. At the end of the ceremony, the graduation caps thrown in the air represent the accomplishment of concluding a graduation.
