Vote counting defines Faculty directors and Master’s coordinator

Voter movement during the evening of May 23 was intense in the three polls prepared to receive academics and professors who voted in the process that define the new Faculty directors and the coordinator in the Plant Production Master’s.

Polls closed punctually at 9pm, as the public notice required, and gathered the academic community to strengthen the democratic process and help build a university that is ever more qualified and based in excellent higher education.

The administrative block auditorium was the chosen site by the Election Committee to count votes for directors in the Faculties of Administration, Agronomy, Accounting Sciences, Law, Nursing, Civil Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physiotherapy, Marketing, Medicine (Aparecida de Goiânia Campus), Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Pedagogy, Psychology and the Plant Production Master’s.

Vote counting, followed closely by the candidates, lasted around two hours. The preliminary results are available on UniRV’s website, in the elections tab. “The election is something very important, for it defines the professors who will be ahead of each course, designing projects and planning an education better by the day”, states the Rector, professor Alberto Barella.
