Model of the new Municipal University Hospital is being exposed at UniRV

The entrance to the University of Rio Verde invites people to get to know the project to the new Municipal University Hospital. The model was made with 3D printing technology, in a scale of 1:100 and the 2x2 model was put in the administrative block so that staff members, academics and professors can see the future installations for the hospital.

The model provides a detailed 3D view of the hospital, allowing people to explore and understand better its architecture, layout and space distribution. This valuable tool in transmitting the size of the project, apart from including every block, show how the parking spaces will be distributed and also landscaping, which helps in people’s connection to the environment, valuing nature contact and contributing to the scene composition.

Especially relevant to health area academics for it anticipates and familiarizes students to the environment where they will carry out their professional skills in the future, the realistic model tries to bring a feeling of motion through the insertion of miniature figures, making it easier to understand the environment’s routine, making the experience even more real.

The Municipal University Hospital is a partnership between UniRV and the Rio Verde City Hall and has a predicted cost of R$128 million. The building will have two floors of blocks that will help the community and the learning at the Faculty of Medicine, 340 SUS hospital beds, being it 300 for infirmary and 40 for Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing the academic community with a modern space for practical activities in teaching, research and extension, becoming a space to do internships for UniRV academic and professors that develop actions connected to the health area.

According to the Rector, professor Alberto Barella, the model is an excellent communication tool, for it allows people to easily understand the features and functionalities of the new hospital. “It is through this representation that members of the academic community and general public will be able to see, in a tangible way, how grandiose the project is, building a positive expectation and consolidating the university’s commitment to the excellency in forming professionals”, comments the Rector.
