Systematic Review will be the theme of a lecture at UniRV

Pro-Rectory of Research and Innovation at the University of Rio Verde, through the Collective Health Study Group, will promote, on May 22, the lecture “Systematic Review: step-by-step to its construction”. This free event will take place in the auditorium of the Administrative Block. Those who are interested can register on site.

The conversation will be conducted by the Medicine professor, Dr. Ana Paula Fontana, with the goal of debating the subject in a wider way, using methodologies that aggregate research value to guide clinical practice and demonstrate a structured approach. Systematic review is a type of review that tries to answer a specific question objectively and impartially. For doing so, it uses systematic methods, defined ahead of time, in identifying and selecting studies, extracting data and analyzing results.

Thinking of offering such content to the academics of the other campuses at the University, the Pro-Rectory will transmit the event live through the link. UniRV’s Rector, professor Alberto Barella, mentions that the opportunity will contribute to updates in the latest trends in Systematic Reviews in the health area, as well as stimulating research. “Broadening knowledge on teaching and research methodologies and guaranteeing the continuity of such processes is very important to the institution. I would like to invite the entire academic community, professors and professionals in the area to participate,” he comments.
