Faculty of Accounting Sciences promotes minicourses

Gathering around 100 participants at the Convention Center of the University of Rio Verde, the minicourses developed by the Faculty of Accounting Sciences were a success. The event, organized by the Center of Complementary Activities, held lectures that approached themes suggested by the students themselves.

Income Tax Declaration was the subject approached by professor Me. Ricardo Neves. The professor taught a class specifying, step by step, how to send the documents to Receita Federal. He answered the questions from the participants and mentioned the main updates regarding the theme. This year, it is possible to use a pre-filled out option of the document. Contributors have until May 31 to declare their Income Tax.

For professor Gizele Fernandes Almeida, the participation of academics is very important for profession enrichment, apart from being a great opportunity to learn a new activity. “The Faculty of Accounting Sciences has many areas of work. The minicourse on income tax declaration, for example, is a way of contributing so that our academics have an option of making money and can do a quality service for others”, she highlights.

Gabriella Ferreira Tomaz, a third semester Accounting Sciences academic, took advantage of the opportunity to learn how to run her finances and control the pull to spend money. The student, who participated of the lecture “Financial Education”, guarantees that she will apply the tips given by the general manager of Sicredi, Vanesa Gaioski. “I am in an organization phase, doing budgets and analyzing how I spend my money. Without a doubt, I will apply many of the things I learned today”, she states.

Vanesa Gaioski emphasizes that planning is thinking about the future, so, it is important to establish goals and understand the dreams you want to accomplish. “Financial education is all about understanding what stage your finances are and where you want to get. Today we have sown a seed, I hope it can grow and develop some way.”

Trying to analyze the procedures to generating a digital file for ECD, SPED and ECF, focusing on the integration of information regarding Net Profit and CSLL calculus, the accountant, alumni of UniRV’s Faculty of Accounting Sciences, Elizandra Silva, had a laid-back conversation and answered the main questions from the students. The lecture had the special participation of the director of the course, professor Me. Débora Ferguson, who thanked and welcomed everyone.

“Being able to show the different possibilities of work enriches our academics’ formation. This is a heated market that keeps growing and demands professionals who are updated and aware on what is new in the area”, states UniRV’s Rector, professor Alberto Barella.
