Vem aí o I Congresso de Extensão Transdisciplinar da UniRV: "Boas práticas para o cuidar da pessoa com deficiência (PcD)". O evento, promovido pelas Faculdades de Enfermagem, Fisioterapia e Odontologia, tem a finalidade de promover a integração entre pessoas com deficiência e diferentes áreas do conhecimento. O evento também promove a discussão sobre os direitos das PcD que contemplam acesso universal e integral à saúde, além da discussão sobre os modelos de reabilitação com grande alcance social e estímulo à prática de atividade física, com vistas à promoção de respeito e atitudes afirmativas.

 

Registrations open for UniRV’s I Transdisciplinary Extension Congress

Registrations are open for UniRV’s I Transdisciplinary Extension Congress: Good practices in taking care of people with disabilities. The event promoted by the Faculties of Nursing, Physiotherapy and Dentistry have the goal of promoting the integration between people with disabilities and different areas of knowledge, the rights of people with disabilities, universal access and health integration, the discussion of rehabilitation models with big social reach, as well as stimulating practicing physical activities in order to promote respect and affirmative actions.

The schedule includes lectures, sports competitions, forums directed towards cultural presentations, will take place from May 16 to 20, at the Convention Center and those who are interested can register for free through the link. The event will still have the pre-congress, which will happen on May 15, with a lecture designed for parents and with recreational activities such as: Boules and Para athletics; Goalball, Wheelchair Basketball and Paralympic Swimming.

The opening conference is scheduled for May 16 at 7pm with the lecture: “Overcoming is worth gold” with the doctor in education, Adriano José Hertzog Vieira. “Another event for the academic community which will discuss an important theme such as: good practices in taking care of people with disabilities. We hope that all the academics can participate and we expect a great Congress”, states the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto.
