Almost four thousand applicants in the first week of applications for the Medicine admission exam

The Medicine admission exam of the University of Rio Verde is the most awaited moment for hundreds of High School students and for those who dream with the profession that demands love, empathy and compassion. The waiting is such, that after applications were opened, almost four thousand candidates have already guaranteed their participation in the selection process that represents the passport to fight for a place in one of the five Campuses with a Faculty of Medicine: Rio Verde, Aparecida, Goianésia, Formosa and Luziânia.

Looking for the dreamed of place, candidates of almost every Brazilian State, with the exception of Espírito Santo and Paraíba, have already applied for one option or even for the 10 chances that are offered: 5 chances through ENEM and 5 chances through tests done in person. Most applicants in the 2023 admission exam are women: they represent 72% of the applications, while men represent only 27% of the amount of applications until today.

Candidate support guide

Trying to help the candidate in the 2023/2 Medicine admission exam, the Department of Relationships and New Businesses – Admissions Exam Team organized a list with several services like restaurants, hotels, drug stores, supermarkets, flights, etc.

Date and test location

The test on location for every Campus will happen, exclusively, in the city of Rio Verde, from June 12 to 16. When adopting the Enem scores, the candidate can apply using one of the scores attributed to them, in the period of 2017 to 2022. The candidate must indicate, in the application file, only one edition (year) of the National Exam.

Continue your studies with UniRV: Medical Residency Program

The University of Rio Verde – UniRV offers, since 2018, the Medical Residency Program, certified by the Ministry of Education, by the National Medical Residency Committee and by the entities of the specialization areas, that are: Medical Clinic; General Surgery; Pre-Requisite in Basic Surgery; Pediatrics; OB/GYN; Family and Community Medicine.

The Program participates, since 2022, of the Unified Selection Process to enter in Medical Residency Programs, through the Goiás Association of Medical Residencies (AREMG), made up of 10 institutions of the entire state. It is made up of a post-graduation program, as a specialization course, and works in health institutions, with the guidance of professionals of elevated ethical and professional qualification.

The model offered in UniRV’s Program, destined to doctors, characterizes itself by the training in hospital units, clinics and diagnose centers, among others. All of these under the responsibility of the Medical Residency Committee (COREME), created in September of 2017, after the approval by the University Council – CONSUNI, and properly credited by the National Medical Residency Committee (CNMR).
