Workshop reinforces the importance of celebrating achievements

This Tuesday, April 18, the University of Rio Verde – UniRV, through the Pro-Rectory of Student Affairs, held the first edition of the workshop “I am Remarkable: Celebrate your achievements”. The welcoming event had as its main goal to contribute for people to value their victories and embrace without guilt their accomplishments.

The workshop commanded by professor Me. Vanessa Camargo in the block 1 auditorium (administrative) had the active participation of the public that interacted writing down the reasons why they are incredible and after that presented the reasons to the group. “I am Remarkable” is a Google global initiative so that everybody, mainly minorities, celebrate their achievements in the working environment and beyond it.

During the event, participants learned about the importance of self-promotion in their personal and professional life and had access to tools to develop their skills. A guided exercise was shared with the group, made up of five topics. 1) Special Wednesday; 2) Practicing and perfecting; 3) Accompanying your accomplishments; 4) Acting and analyzing and 5) Defining long term goals.

“Developing skills that building up people that are stronger every day and that understand and celebrate each accomplished process is very important for the construction of professionals that know how to recognize opportunities”, highlights the Rector, professor Alberto Barella.
