SuperLearning is the highlight of the opening of the XXVIII Symposium of Legal Studies
With a beautiful cultural presentation of the university choir of the University of Rio Verde – UniRV, the XXVIII Symposium of Legal Studies started. During this edition, the event approaches the theme of “Transdisciplinarity and Complexity: the connection that builds the future” and takes place until April 19, at the Convention Center. With around 900 registrations, among academics, professors and professionals of the area, the Symposium seeks to promote the integration between participants and lecturers, bringing the future professionals closer to the job market.
The official opening ceremony had the participation of UniRV’s General Attorney, Dr. Viviane Aprígio Prado e Silva, who, on the occasion, was representing the Rector, professor Alberto Barella; the director of the Faculty of Law, professor Dr. Renata de Almeida Monteiro; the coordinator of the Center of Extension and Activities, professor Dr. Línia Dayana Lopes Machado; professor Dr. Tiago Lauis Eilers Treichel, representing the Vice-Rector, professor Arício Vieira da Silva; the director of the Faculty of Agronomy, professor Dr. Paulo Fernandes Boldrin, and the President of Rio Verde’s subsection of OAB, Alessandro Gil.
“It is with great joy that we open the 28th Symposium. The Faculty of Law has the mission of bringing deep transformation and it is because of this spirit of dynamism that we are here to build, each day, your future”, commented professor Dr. Línia Dayana. Sharing the happiness of initiating another Law School event, the director, professor Dr. Renata Monteiro, emphasized the importance of the Symposium: “It is with great satisfaction that I declare open another edition of the Symposium that has become a tradition not only for its continuity, but also for the quality with which it is done.”
This is the first time that the academic Lyandra França de Almeida Cardoso, from the Faculty of Pedagogy, participates of the event. Even being a different course, the student is excited with the experience: “This year’s theme is widely encompassing for the public of several areas, because of this, we have come to participate. I am sure that it will be enriching for the discovery of new fields of work. Reality today is very practical, only theory does not form great professionals.”
The relationship between Lutielly Maria Souza Soares with the Symposium is old. Always involved with the actions of the Faculty of Law, the 9th period academic says that having an event organized by the academics contributes to a bigger commitment. “This time, I am participating as the President of the Organizing Committee and it is a totally different experience. When you participate as a spectator, your expectation is on the lecturers’ presentation. When in the organization, the expectation is regarding the public’s feeling, how they will react, if they are going to like it. The symposium brings practice, be it through the cases the lecturers mention, or be it through a career inspiration”, she highlights.
The lecture “SuperLearning: how to learn more, faster and better”, presented by the Federal Judge, Dr. George Marmelstein Lima, opened the first night of the Symposium. The event continues this Tuesday, April 18, approaching the theme “Neuroscience and criminal behavior and its implications in case of violent crimes”, and will be presented by the doctor and UniRV professor, Me. Fábio Pacheco Brandt, and by the Master’s student and professor Luciano Miranda Meireles.
“The Symposium is an important mark, not only for the Law School, but for the entire UniRV that is proud in welcoming professionals that studied in our institution and that are making a difference in several areas”, comments the Rector, professor Alberto Barella”.
