UniRV sedia o 69º Fórum Nacional da ABRUEM em maio

A Universidade de Rio Verde - UniRV demonstra uma notável expertise na realização de eventos nacionais, tanto pela infraestrutura quanto pela calorosa acolhida a seus visitantes. Já foram vários, entre eles: o Congresso Brasileiro de Plantas Daninhas, com visitantes de 10 países; o Fórum Nacional da ANIMES, com representantes de 20 universidades de diferentes Estados; e o Congresso Transdisciplinar da Saúde, com palestra do ex-ministro da Saúde, Luiz Henrique Mandetta. E este ano, os preparativos seguem a passo acelerado para que a 69ª edição do Fórum Nacional da Associação Brasileira de Reitoras e Reitores (ABRUEM), que será sediada pela UniRV, supere expectativas e proporcione uma experiência marcante para os representantes das mais de 30 universidades brasileiras com presença já confirmada.

A realização do Fórum da ABRUEM na UniRV foi definida no ano passado, durante a 68ª edição do evento, realizada em Curitiba (PR), onde o Reitor, professor Alberto Barella Netto, defendeu a candidatura da Universidade como sede, em 2023. A candidatura da UniRV foi fielmente apoiada pelas instituições coirmãs goianas, UniCerrado e UniFimes. A ABRUEM foi criada em 1991 e, desde então, tornou-se uma das mais importantes organizações de ensino superior da América Latina. Ela atua, diretamente, em 22 Estados do Brasil, por meio de suas 47 universidades associadas.

Esta será a primeira vez que a Universidade de Rio Verde sedia o Fórum da ABRUEM, que vai acontecer de 24 a 27 de maio, no Centro de Convenções. Para acompanhar o andamento dos preparativos, o Secretário Executivo da Associação, professor Carlos Roberto Ferreira, realizou uma visita técnica à Instituição no início deste mês: “A UniRV tem um belo Campus em Rio Verde e está extremamente bem servida e preparada para o evento. Parabéns a esta comunidade acadêmica, aos docentes e aos servidores pela magnífica Universidade que possuem”.

Para certificar as potencialidades da Instituição e sua adequada infraestrutura, o Reitor apresentou um relatório minucioso que comprova a experiência da UniRV para a realização de grandes eventos. “Receber a 69ª edição do Fórum é motivo de muita honra para toda a Universidade de Rio Verde; é a grande oportunidade de mostrar que nossa Instituição se preocupa com as universidades coirmãs na luta pelo fortalecimento de todas e em benefício do ensino superior”, comenta o professor Alberto Barella.

A próxima edição do Fórum da ABRUEM terá como temática, os objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável nas instituições associadas. O evento também será palco de encontro para personalidades do ensino superior no Brasil estreitarem laços e realizarem ações de cooperação mútua.

UniRV hosts the ABRUEM’s 69th National Forum in May

The University of Rio Verde – UniRV demonstrates notable expertise in holding national events, both for its infrastructure as well as for the warm welcome given to its visitors. There have been several, among them: Brazilian Congress of Weeds, with visitors from over 20 universities from different states; and the Transdisciplinary Health Congress, with lectures from the former health minister, Luiz Henrique Mandetta. This year, the preparations are in full swing so that the 69^th National Forum of Brazilian National Association of Rectors (ABRUEM), that will be hosted by UniRV beats expectations and allows for a memorable experience for the representatives of the more than 30 Brazilian universities that have already confirmed attendance.

Hosting the National Forum in the University of Rio Verde was a decision made last year, when professor Alberto Barella defended the University’s candidacy as a host institution during the 68^th edition of the meeting, that took place in Curitiba, (PR), where the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto, defended the University’s candidacy as host in 2023. UniRV’s candidacy was faithfully supported by its sister institutions from Goiás, UniCerrado and UniFimes. ABRUEM was created in 1991 and, since then, has become one of the most important higher education institutions in Latin America. It acts, directly, in 22 Brazilian States, through its 47 associated universities.

This will be the first time that the University of Rio Verde hosts ABRUEM’s Forum, which will take place from May 24^th to 27^th, in the Convention Center. To keep up with the preparations, the Association’s Executive Secretary, professor Carlos Roberto Ferreira, made a technical visit to the Institution in the beginning of the month: “UniRV has a beautiful Campus in Rio Verde and is extremely well served and ready for the event. Congratulations to this academic community, the professors and staff for the magnificent University they possess”.

To attest the Institution’s potential and its adequate facilities, the Rector presented a detailed report that proves UniRV’s experience in hosting big events. “Hosting the 69^th edition of the Forum is a reason for honor to the entire University of Rio Verde; it is the great opportunity to show that our Institution is concerned with its sister Universities in the fight for the strengthening of all of us, and in benefit of higher education,” commented professor Alberto Barella.

The next edition of ABRUEM’s Forum will have as its theme the objectives of the sustainable development in the associated institutions. The event will also be the stage for the meeting of Brazilian higher education personalities and strengthening bonds and carrying out mutual cooperation actions.
