Depois da aprovação para abertura da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Rio Verde – UniRV, em Luziânia, em setembro de 2022, a cidade vivencia a chegada da primeira turma dos futuros médicos que irão impactar diretamente a saúde pública e a economia da cidade. No dia 03 de abril, o Reitor da Universidade de Rio Verde - UniRV, professor Alberto Barella Netto, juntamente com o prefeito municipal, Diego Sorgatto, realizará a cerimônia oficial para abertura das atividades do Campus. A solenidade está marcada para as 8h da manhã na Câmara Municipal de Luziânia, com presença confirmada dos dois anfitriões, além de vereadores e demais autoridades. Logo após, haverá o descerramento da fita inaugural e a recepção aos acadêmicos na moderna sede onde foi instalada a Faculdade de Medicina. 

A implantação da Faculdade de Medicina em Luziânia marca o início de uma nova história para o município, desde a movimentação da economia local, a geração de empregos diretos e indiretos e a inserção de novos profissionais na rede pública de saúde do município e de toda a região. O primeiro Vestibular foi realizado em novembro do ano passado e recebeu cerca de dois mil candidatos de vários estados brasileiros, em busca de uma das 60 vagas ofertadas.

 

A implantação do novo Campus foi aprovada, por unanimidade, pelo Conselho Estadual de Educação de Goiás, hipotecando toda a credibilidade da Instituição, tanto em qualidade de ensino superior e infraestrutura quanto em responsabilidade sociocultural. O local está abrigado em um estiloso e moderno prédio com localização privilegiada, situado à Avenida Sara Kubitschek, Qd. 20, Lt. 1/2 Setor Norte, com cinco pavimentos. Um deles abriga os Laboratórios de Anatomia, Morfofuncional, Técnica-operatória e de Simulação, Microscopia e de Semiologia. Nos andares 1, 2 e 3, estão estruturadas salas de aulas, salas coordenação de eixos e sala dos professores. O pavimento térreo abriga a recepção, a central de atendimentos, a coordenação geral, a diretoria, a sala de administração, a Biblioteca e um anexo para sala de estudo.

Compartilhando esse momento tão esperado com o prefeito Diego Sorgatto e a comunidade luzianiense, o Reitor agradece a acolhida e faz um compromisso com as famílias do município: “O tão desejado sonho do prefeito Diego Sorgatto e de toda comunidade se concretizou e agora daremos início a essa brilhante jornada que mudará a história de Luziânia e a vida dos 60 primeiros calouros. A partir de agora, a UniRV faz parte desta cidade e, por isso, temos o compromisso de contribuir de maneira significativa com todos os que nos receberam de braços abertos. UniRV carries out the inaugural class of the Medicine Course of the Luziânia Campus

After the approval for the opening of a Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rio Verde – UniRV, in Luziânia, in September 2022, the city experiences the arrival of the first class of future doctors that will impact the city’s public health and economy directly. On April 3, the Rector of the University of Rio Verde – UniRV, professor Alberto Barella Netto, together with the Mayor, Diego Sorgatto, will carry out the official opening ceremony of the Luziânia Campus activities. The ceremony is scheduled for 8 o’clock at the City’s Legislature Chamber, with the confirmed presence of the two hosts, apart from the city’s councilmen and other authorities. Soon after that, there will be the ribbon ceremony and the reception of the academics at the modern building where the Faculty of Medicine will be housed.

The implementation of the Faculty of Medicine in Luziânia marks the beginning of a new history for the city, because of factors such as the movement of the local economy, direct and indirect job creation and the insertion of new professionals to the city’s public health network. The first admission exam was done in November of last year and got around two thousand candidates from several Brazilian states, looking for one of the 60 offered positions.

The implementation of the new Campus was unanimously approved by the Goiás State Board of Education, relying on the Institution’s credibility, both in teaching quality and infrastructure as in sociocultural responsibility. The site is a modern and stylistic building located in a privileged location at Sara Kubitschek Avenue, Block 20, Lot 1/2 Sector North, with five floors. One of them houses the Anatomy, Morphofunctional, Operation Technique and Simulations, Microscopes and Semiology Laboratories. On the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd floors there will be the classrooms, coordination rooms and professors lounge. The ground floor houses the reception, appointment center, general coordination, directory, administration room, library and an annex for the study room.

Sharing in such an awaited moment with Mayor Diego Sorgatto and the community from Luziânia, the Rector thanks for the welcoming and makes a commitment to the families of the city: “Mayor Diego Sorgatto’s long awaited dream and of the entire community came true and now we start this brilliant journey that will change the history of Luziânia and the life of the first 60 students. From now on, UniRV is part of this city and, because of this, we have the commitment of contributing in a significant way to all who have welcomed us with open arms. We hope we can count on everyone in such a special moment for UniRV and for the city of Luziânia,” professor Alberto Barella shares the invitation.
