Mais uma importante parceria da Universidade de Rio Verde-UniRV que reflete o compromisso com a comunidade universitária, a atuação junto às famílias e a significativa contribuição com a saúde do Município, por meio do Projeto de Lei N. 13/2023, de fevereiro deste ano, a Instituição participará ativamente na construção do novo Hospital Municipal Universitário (HMU), contribuindo com 50% do valor total das obras de construção da Unidade que se tornará referência em saúde no Brasil e proporcionará a comunidade acadêmica um espaço moderno para as atividades práticas do ensino, pesquisa e extensão.
 

Ciente da importância de construir um novo e moderno espaço para utilização acadêmica nos cursos voltados à área da saúde, o Reitor, professor Alberto Barella Netto, junto com o prefeito de Rio Verde, Paulo do Vale visitou na manhã desta quinta-feira, dia 23 de fevereiro, a construção do Hospital e acompanhou de perto o andamento das execuções. Em ritmo bastante avançado, a primeira laje da ala das enfermarias já foi concretada. Com o novo Hospital, a UniRV terá um novo campo de estágios para o corpo docente e discente executar atividades práticas vinculadas a área da saúde.

Rector and Mayor visit the construction site of the Municipal University Hospital

This is another important partnership of the University of Rio Verde – UniRV that reflects its commitment to the university community, working alongside families and contributing to health in the city. Through Bill number 12/2023 of February of this year, the Institution will actively participate in the construction of the new Municipal University Hospital (HMU), contributing with 50% of the total cost of construction and work, of what will be a reference in Brazilian health and will give the academic community a modern space to carry out the practical side of their education, research and extension.

Aware of the importance of building a new and modern space for academic use in the health courses, the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto, alongside the Mayor of Rio Verde, Paulo do Vale, visited on the morning of this Thursday, February 23^rd, the construction site of the Hospital, and followed closely the progress already made. In a fast pace, the first ceiling of the infirmary ward has already had concrete poured. With the new University Hospital, UniRV will have a new internship space for its students and professors to execute the practical activities attached to the health studies.

According to the Rector, the project will be and important investment for the health courses, and the main ally in tending to the population. “It is another partnership with Rio Verde’s City Hall that shall reflect in improving public health and will give our students an ample and modern place for the fundamental practices in the formation of a good professional. UniRV has distinguished itself in the national scene by the quality of our teaching staff, the course structure and teaching, and now we will be a reference in infrastructure and technology as well,” commented Alberto Barela.

The construction is estimated to cost R$ 128 million and will offer two floors that shall tend to the community and the practices of the Faculty of Medicine, and the structure will house 340 hospital beds for SUS, being 300 of these for infirmary and 40 for Intensive Care Units (ICU), as well as contemplating several updated services, medical teleconferences, research with national and international institutes, organ transplant, auditoriums, living areas, emergency rooms, imagery, laundry, kitchen, infirmary room, local decompression room, surgery block with a view so students can learn, sterilization room and a heliport.
