Às vésperas de comemorar 44 anos de fundação, os moradores do Bairro Promissão receberam a segunda edição do “Conexão UniRV” com inúmeros atendimentos gratuitos, prestados por acadêmicos e professores de todas as Faculdades. A Praça do Bairro ficou lotada de crianças, jovens e adultos atraídos pela quantidade de serviços oferecidos das 8 da manhã até as 12h deste sábado, dia 24 de setembro. O Projeto de Extensão Universitária foi idealizado com o objetivo de promover um ensino superior mais humanizado e conectar a Universidade com a comunidade em que está inserida, possibilitando o aprimoramento dos acadêmicos e refletindo na melhoria da qualidade de vida da população. O “Conexão UniRV” possibilita ainda o cumprimento da resolução Nº 07, de 18 de dezembro de 2018, que trata da curricularização da Extensão Universitária, unindo teoria e prática por meio da atuação de todas as Faculdades junto à comunidade.

 

Prestigiando a realização de mais um edição do Projeto, a primeira-dama e secretária de Assistência Social, Lilian Garcia, aproveitou os atendimentos em saúde para conferir a glicemia e colocar em dia o cartão de vacina. “Esse evento da UniRV trazendo toda a estrutura da Universidade para a Região Sul é muito importante por estar perto da população com todos esses benefícios. Esse evento é de suma importância para a população e principalmente para os acadêmicos e que estão colocando em prática todo o conteúdo apendido em sala de aula,” reforçou a Primeira-Dama.

 

Um dos espaços mais frequentados pela criançada, foi a tenda da Faculdade de pedagogia, que ofereceu inúmeras dinâmicas e oficinas servindo de grande atrativo para a tribo mirim. “Esse projeto “Conexão UniRV é muito importante para a comunidade de Rio Verde. Estamos aqui hoje na Praça do Bairro Promissão e as crianças que moram aqui necessitam desse momento lúdico, com as brincadeiras, as oficinas e todas as atividades que preparamos especialmente para esta edição e essas ações fazem parte da vivencia das acadêmicas, que muito contribuem com a sua formação. A Universidade vindo a campo, com esse importante projeto está cumprindo o seu papel de extensão aliado ao tripé ensino, pesquisa e extensão,” comentou a diretora da Faculdade de Pedagogia, Ma. Eli Guimarães Carneiro.

 

A programação voltada as crianças impressionou a moradora Rillary Charmliy de 9 anos que aproveitou as bicicletas voltadas a atividade física, com o famoso circuito de spining, recebeu os kits escolares e de higiene bucal e aproveitou os escorregadores e pula-pula para brincar bastante com seus colegas da região. Eu gostei de tudo, ganhe material escolar, escova de dente e vários brinquedos. Hoje foi a primeira vez que vim e gostei de tudo. Vim para a praça e encontrei essas coisas maravilhosas,” afirmou Rillary.

 

O Projeto que cumpre com êxito a Extensão Universitária também oferece uma grande oportunidade para os moradores buscar uma oportunidade no mercado de trabalho. As Faculdades de Administração e Marketing aproveitaram a edição do Bairro Promissão para formatar currículos, dar dicas de postura e vestimenta durante entrevistas de emprego e ainda ofereceu um mural de trabalho disponibilizadas por várias empresas de Rio Verde e Região. “Além de fazer o currículo de quem frequentou o nosso espaço, ainda teve a oportunidade de receber dicas e orientações de comportamento perante uma entrevista. Ao passar por aqui o candidato sai pronto para fazer uma boa entrevista e conquistar uma das vagas do nosso mural,” lembrou o professor Anderson Alves.

Quem também conheceu a estrutura do Conexão UniRV realizado no Bairro Promissão foi o Juiz das Varas Civil e Eleitoral da Comarca de Rio Verde, Gustavo Baratella e avaliou como louvável a iniciativa da Universidade de contribuir com as famílias de Rio Verde. “O Projeto Conexão UniRV é um grande patrimônio formado para a comunidade de Rio Verde. É uma forma multi e interdisciplinar de tratamento adequada e afetuosa de chegar ao público oferendo soluções para as necessidade, é um grande modelo de comunicação ente academia e a sociedade para melhoria de todos os problemas,” ressaltou o Juiz.

 

Durante a segunda edição, os visitantes puderam aferir de pressão arterial; fazer o cálculo de Índice de massa corpórea, bem como teste de acuidade visual; Glicemia capilar; Tipagem sanguínea e Orientações sobre Autoexame das mamas; Avaliação da função pulmonar de pessoas acometidas pela Covid19; Quantificação da força muscular dos membros superiores e membros inferiores de pessoas acometidas pela Covid19; Teste rápido (hepatite, sífilis, HIV, Covid – 19) e Coleta de material para realização exame preventivo (Papa Nicolau).

A ação, que conta com mais duas edições este ano oportuniza a atuação dos acadêmicos junto às famílias com inúmeros atendimentos sem nenhum custo. “Esse evento é muito importante para nós acadêmicos pois gera esse contato com a sociedade. É muito importante essa interação com a sociedade, além de colocar em prática tudo que já aprendemos ainda contribuímos com a inserção da comunidade no mercado,” compartilhou o acadêmico do 4º período da Faculdade de Design Gráfico,  Luiz Phelipe Oliveira Martins.

Promissão Neighborhood receives “UniRV Connection” in the mood of the 44th anniversary

On the eve of celebrating its 44th anniversary, the residents of Bairro Promissão received the second edition of “UniRV Connection” with numerous free services provided by academics and professors from all Faculties. The neighborhood square was full of children, young people and adults attracted by the amount of services offered from 8am to 12pm this Saturday, September 24th. The University Extension Project was conceived with the objective of promoting a more humanized higher education and connecting the University to the community in which it is inserted in, enabling the betterment of academics and reflecting on the improvement of the population's quality of life. “UniRV Connection” also enables compliance with Resolution No. 07, of December 18th, 2018, which mandates University Extension in the curriculum, uniting theory and practice through the performance of all Faculties in combination with the community.

Honoring the realization of another edition of the Project, the First Lady and Secretary of Wellfare, Lilian Garcia, took advantage of the health care to check the blood glucose and update her vaccination card. “This event by UniRV bringing the entire University structure to the South Region is very important because it is close to the population with all these benefits. This event is paramount for the population and especially for academics, who are putting into practice all the content learned in the classroom,” reinforced the First Lady.

One of the most offen visited spaces by children was the tent of the Faculty of Pedagogy, which offered numerous dynamics and workshops serving as a great attraction for the kids. “This project, 'UniRV Connection', is very important for the community of Rio Verde. We are here today at the neighborhood square in Promissão and the children who live here need this playful moment, with the games, the workshops and all the activities that we have prepared especially for this edition and these actions are part of the experience of the academics, who greatly contribute to their training. The University, coming to the field, with this important project is fulfilling its role of extension allied to the tripod teaching, research and extension,” commented the director of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Ma. Eli Guimaraes Carneiro.

The program aimed at children impressed the resident Rillary Charmliy, 9 years old, who took advantage of the bikes for physical activity, with the famous spinning circuit, receiving a school kit and an oral hygiene kit and taking advantage of the slides and bouncy house to play a lot with her friends of the region. I enjoyed everything. I got school supplies, a toothbrush and various toys. Today was the first time I came and I enjoyed it all. I came to the square and found these wonderful things,” said Rillary.

The Project that successfully fulfills the University Extension also offers a great opportunity for residents to seek an opportunity in the job market. The Faculties of business and Marketing took advantage of the edition of Promissão neighborhood to format CVs, give tips on posture and dress during job interviews and even offered a job board made available by several companies in Rio Verde and region. “In addition to making the CV of those who attended our space, one also had the opportunity to receive tips and guidelines on behavior before an interview. When passing through here, the candidate leaves ready to have a good interview and get one of the openings on our wall,” recalled Professor Anderson Alves.

Someone who also got to know the structure of UniRV Connection, held in the Promissão neighborhood, was the Judge of the Civil and Electoral Courts of the District of Rio Verde, Gustavo Baratella. He praised the University's initiative to contribute to the families of Rio Verde. “UniRV Connection Project is a great asset created for the community of Rio Verde. It is a multi and interdisciplinary form of adequate and affectionate treatment to reach the public offering solutions to their needs. It is a great model of communication between academia and society to improve all problems,” highlighted the judge.

During the second edition, visitors were able to measure their blood pressure; calculate body mass index, as well as visual acuity test; Capillary blood glucose; Blood typing and learning the breast self-examination guidelines; Assessment of lung function in people affected by Covid19; Muscle strength quantification of the upper and lower limbs of people affected by Covid19; Quick test (hepatitis, syphilis, HIV, Covid-19) and the collection of materials for preventive examination (Papanicolau).

The action, which has two more editions this year, provides opportunities for academics to work with families, providing numerous services at no cost. “This event is very important for us academics because it generates this contact with society. This interaction with society is very important, in addition to putting into practice everything we have already learned, we also contribute to the insertion of the community in the market,” shared Luiz Phelipe Oliveira Martins, 4th period academic at the Faculty of Graphic Design.
