Tax Reform was the theme of the inaugural class for the Master’s Program in Agribusiness Law
Last Thursday evening, August 17, the inaugural class for the Master’s Program in Agribusiness Law and Development was held, with the goal of promoting the integration between professors, students and professionals, apart from welcoming the new students for the second semester of 2023. The Program was idealized to perfect scientific research knowledge, with emphasis in qualifying professionals who are already working in the field, incentivizing the creation of new techniques, processes and procedures that will impact Agribusiness. The Master’s Program was approved by the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES) in May of 2020.
In attendance at the event were the Pro-Rector of Research and Innovation, professor Dr. Carlos César Evangelista de Menezes, who was representing the Rector, professor Alberto Barella Netto; the coordinator of the Master’s Program, professor Dr. Rejaine Silva Guimarães; the Vice-Rector and Pro-Rector of Graduation, professor Dr. Arício Vieira da Silva; the Police Chief for the 8th Police precinct, Danilo Fabiano Carvalho; the Director of the Law Course, professor Dr. Línia Dayana Lopes, apart from other professors, authorities and guests.
In ger speech, Rejaine welcomed the new students and thanked all of them for choosing UniRV. “I am sure the Master’s Program has the best professors, ample facilities that are equipped for classes and fomenting research, fundamental tools to help in this journey of learning and knowledge exchange,” stated the coordinator, who also presented the professors in the Program to those who are beginning their studies in this second semester.
On behalf of the Rector, Carlos César talked about the investments that are being made in the field of research and innovation, mentioning the new innovation public notice that will be published this semester and the projects approved by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and by the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES), with the participation of students and professors in the Master’s programs.
