Administration and Marketing Faculties hold 4th Bar Entrepreneurship
On May 16 and 17, the long-awaited Administration and Marketing event “Bar Entrepreneurship” took place. Promoted as a part of the Empreende+ Extension Program, the event had the goal of promoting learning and knowledge exchange on entrepreneurship between students and professionals of the area. On the first day of the event, as part of the SEBRAE partnership, the lecture Two-step Entrepreneurship, with facilitator Estherssanne Amorim, who brought important concepts and discussions on the entrepreneurial activity.
“Bar Entrepreneurship” tries to bring the discussion about business to beyond university classrooms, creating a laid-back environment, proper to the sharing of experiences. And, on the second day, the event took place at Nelore Bar in Clube Campestre, providing a cool and pleasant environment for participants.
One of the highlights of the event were the special guests, entrepreneurs who have made a difference in the city. Danilo Moraes, an entrepreneur at the Cia da Criação agency and in the Pede o Menu startup, shared his trajectory and experiences in the business world. Glendha Garcia, an entrepreneur in companies Duplicar and Menina de Make, also brought some valuable insights on entrepreneurship. Apart from this, the professor and content creator, Ricardo Neves contributed with his knowledge and expertise.
Students also played a fundamental role in the event’s success. Their active participation and engagement enabled an enriching knowledge exchange, strengthening the university’s extension projects. The interaction between students, invited entrepreneurs and the community that was present, provided the proper environment for learning, inspiration and networking.
Professor and coordinator of the Extension Center of the Administration and Marketing Faculties, Ana Maiara, participated of the “Bar Entrepreneurship” and spoke on the project’s relevance: “I considered this event of the utmost importance, for it guarantees that our students get the opportunity to meet real entrepreneurs, experiencing the real marketplace environment, establishing professional contacts, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and enhancing one’s knowledge.”
During the event, several topics related to entrepreneurship were discussed, such as business strategies, digital marketing, innovation and management. The lecture, roundtable and networking moments allowed participants to broaden their horizons and acquire new insights to their future careers.
“Bar Entrepreneurship” has been, since its first edition, a valuable initiative that incentivizes entrepreneurship and the development of entrepreneur skills among Administration and Marketing students. While enabling a cool and stimulating environment, the event reinforced the importance of exchanging knowledge among students and entrepreneurs, contributing to the academic and professional formation of participants.
With the success of this year’s edition of “Bar Entrepreneurship”, expectations that future editions will continue to promoting entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange among students and professionals in the area, pushing business innovation and growth forward.
