Para Lara Karla Oliveira, acadêmica do 9º período de Fisioterapia, vivenciar a preparação de atividades desportivas foi uma experiência única, motivada pelo aprendizado e pelo encontro com pessoas de diferentes culturas: “Foi maravilhoso poder realizar tantas trocas de conhecimento. Sempre participei de eventos esportivos, mas, esse ano, decidi participar como voluntária e isso foi incrível: fez com que me apaixonasse ainda mais pelo esporte e por tudo que o envolve”.

 

O primeiro contato da UniRV com a CBDU ocorreu em 2021, por meio dos Jogos Brasileiros Universitários (JUBs) Futebol, sediados pela instituição. Desde então, a universidade vem participando ativamente das competições e proporcionando que acadêmicos dos cursos da área da saúde ofereçam atendimento a atletas durante as disputas.

Maria Fernanda Parreira Alves, que também cursa Fisioterapia, conta com empolgação sobre sua participação na Academia de Líderes Voluntários: “Faço parte dos eventos da CBDU desde 2021, tendo atuado junto com a equipe de Enfermagem da UniRV no protocolo de testagem de Covid-19 em atletas. Em 2022, trabalhei nas seletivas internacionais sediadas pela UniRV e também no JUGs e no JUBs Brasília. Poder aprender e me preparar para novas competições é enriquecedor para o meu crescimento pessoal e profissional”, destaca.

 

De acordo com o Diretor do Curso de Fisioterapia, professor Me. Marcos Marcondes de Godoy, a Academia de Líderes da CBDU trabalha com habilidades importantes para os acadêmicos: “Tão importante quanto praticar condutas terapêuticas é saber atuar como verdadeiros líderes e foi o que este evento demonstrou”.

 

A Academia de Voluntários da CBDU tem como objetivo fomentar o espírito voluntário e promover a troca de experiências entre pessoas interessadas pelo tema, além de oferecer treinamento especializado para as atividades desenvolvidas. Para o Reitor, Alberto Barella, “o investimento na formação profissional precisa estar aliado ao investimento na formação humanística dos acadêmicos e essa é uma das principais metas da UniRV”.

Physiotherapy and Nursing Academics participate in CBDU’s Leadership Academy

Being represented by 12 academics from the Faculties of Physiotherapy and Nursing, the University of Rio Verde – UniRV was present in this year’s edition of the Academy for Volunteer Leaders of the Brazilian Federation of University Sports – CBDU, which took place from March 19 to 23, in Brasília. With a programming designed for the development of skills that prepare students to be a part of leadership positions in future CBDU events, the Academy held some group bonding activities and several lectures.

For Lara Karla Oliveira, a 9th period Physiotherapy academic, experiencing the preparation of sporting activities was a unique experience, motivated by learning and meeting new people from different cultures: “Being able to exchange so much knowledge was wonderful. I’ve always participated in sporting events, but, this year I decided to participate as a volunteer and this was incredible: it made me fall in love with sports even more and for everything around it”.

The first contact between UniRV and CBDU happened in 2021 through the Soccer Brazilian University Games (JUBs), held at the Institution. Since then, the university has actively participated of the competitions and enabling health area students to help athletes during the disputes.

Maria Fernanda Parreira Alves, who also studies Physiotherapy, tells, excitedly, about her participation in the Academy for Volunteer Leaders: “I’m a part of CBDU events since 2021, having been a part of UniRV’s Nursing team in the Covid-19 athlete testing protocols. In 2022, I worked in the international selective held by UniRV, as well as in JUGs and JUBs Brasília. Being able to learn and prepare myself for new competitions is enriching for both my personal and professional growth”, she highlights.

According to the Director of the Physiotherapy Course, professor Me. Marcos Marcondes de Godoy, CBDU’s Academy for Volunteer Leaders works on important skills for the academics: “Just as important as doing therapeutic actions is knowing how to act as true leaders and this is what the event showed”.

CBDU’s Academy for Volunteer Leaders has as its objective to foment the volunteer spirit and promote the exchange of experiences among people who are interested on the theme, as well as offering specialized training for the activities developed. For the Rector, Alberto Barella, “the investment in the professional formation must be aligned with investments in the humanistic formation of the academics and this is one of UniRV’s main goals”.
