Partnership with UniRV brings Christmas Spectacle and Choir from Bom Pastor students

A beautiful staging of the birth of Jesus Christ and the presentation of Christmas melodies with the students from the Special Education School Bom Pastor warmed the hearts of the staff members and professors of the University of Rio Verde - UniRV this Monday morning, December 5th. The partnership came about with the completion of the subject of Supervised Internship in special patients, taught by professors at the Faculty of Dentistry, Roberta do Espírito Santo and Fabiana Simões. "This year UniRV opened its doors for us and I hope that every year we can include UniRV in the presentation of this Christmas project," commented Rosângela Silva Morais Rosa, School manager.

With the work from the students in the school, came the invitation to receive the presentation of the Nativity Story and Christmas Choir. According to the manager, 106 students participate in the rehearsals, which take place throughout the month of November, with the help of 40 employees. “The Christmas project has been going on for many years at the School and rehearsals take place throughout the month of November, preparing students for the presentations,” she commented.

The Theater staged by the students showed the journey of Mary and Joseph, until the birth of Jesus Christ and songs like “So it's Christmas” sung by the Choir, brought Christmas joy and reflections to everyone in attendance. “We have a great lesson, not to give up on anything in life. Seeing these special kids who do not give up even with some limitations, it is a lesson for all of us, not to give up on anything in life, but to chase our own dreams,” concluded Rosângela.
