UniRV offers free appointments during Medicine Admissions Exams

Movement on UniRV's Rio Verde campus remains intense during the period of the Medicine Admissions Exams. Seeking to welcome and promote the well-being of family members waiting for the end of the tests, the institution made available two health trucks, which offer free appointments through the work carried out by academics and professors from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

Parked in front of block seven, the mobile units have two equipped offices, access stairs and accessibility ramp. Throughout the week, about 30 academics under the guidance of professors of Dentistry will carry out evaluation, cleaning, health procedures and oral hygiene, oral disease prevention, anamnesis, clinical examination and guidance on the need for treatment. For Lucas Pinheiro, student of the 10th period of the course, this is an important action for professional training and for expanding opportunities and knowledge. “The socialization and integralization is very nice because it provides parents and academics an extra experience with the patients”, he said.

It is estimated that 20 people are served per day. Ana Melquia was one of them. The businesswoman who accompanies her daughter during the entrance exam came from Brasilia and was delighted with the organization and care in creating an environment of rest for parents and offering assistance in health units. “My daughter and I really like the UniRV campus and structure. I thought this space was wonderful. I took advantage of being here to visit the dentistry truck, where I received the first guidelines and I was very well attended. I am sure that great professionals will come out of here”, she highlighted.

The Medicine entrance exam will take place until the 26th, and allocates positions for the first semester of 2023 for the Rio Verde, Aparecida, Formosa, Goianésia and Luziânia campuses. Both health units will be available throughout the selection process.
