Faculty of Nursing promotes Workshop “Signs of Life”
The Faculty of Nursing of the University of Rio Verde - UniRV, held on the night of this Wednesday, 21st, the Workshop "Signs of Life". The course took place at Lauro Martins Theater and aimed to provide academics and professionals in the field an update on the assessment of vital signs, which is an important procedure performed by nurses, as it provides tools for professionals to make decisions about specific interventions in patient care.
There were 300 participants, and among them were academics from UniRV, students from the Quality Technical School and Senac. They were able to closely follow the lecture by Professor Andria de Castro Quiuli, who addressed the theoretical foundations and then helped those enrolled in a practical class, where they could learn how to evaluate the quality of the device, calibrate it, and the correct way to perform the procedure.
“The number of entries exceeded our expectations. We expected to receive around 200 entries and we managed to exceed that number. The workshop was attended by professionals from various educational institutions, which undoubtedly contributes to the construction of more effective care within our health system”, highlighted the director of the Faculty of Nursing, Professor Dr. Berenice Moreira.A Universidade de Rio Verde, por meio de sua participação no Grupo de Cooperação Internacional de Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB), segue ampl...
